Rental Increase

The final thing to note is that there are periods of downturn which can influence a loss of rental from one tenancy to the next. Sorry, we dislike this reality as much as you do but, any long term Landlord can personally acknowledge this possibility.

      So, when consulting the market or your agent, before asking “How much can I get for my property?”, ask “What is my purpose in reviewing the rental at this time?”

      If your answer is either:

  • “I am reinvesting in a long term relationship with established goodwill” or,
  • “I am searching for a quality new Tenant while pursuing the best possible return for my property”.
